Program overview

The CSU Civil Engineering Cadetship Program is a targeted initiative designed to develop a future pipeline of engineers within regional NSW. Cadets will have the opportunity to develop real-world skills alongside their degree, contribute to major projects, learn from leading professionals, explore future career pathways, and build their networks within the energy industry.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be a Bathurst Charles Sturt University student completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) or a Bachelor of Technology (Civil) / Master of Engineering (Civil)
  • This position is open to all, however, priority will be given to Transgrid scholarship recipients.

Program benefits

  • 12-month cadetship program commencing July each year
  • Full-time position with 9-day fortnights
  • Paid study leave for one day each week
