Transgrid crews repair interconnector assets damaged by winds
Emergency crews from Transgrid were on site near Tamworth recently to repair a damaged section of the Queensland NSW Interconnector (QNI) caused by a storm. Our experienced teams worked across tough terrain in challenging conditions to complete the repairs.

Transgrid and Infravision innovate using drones to safely complete stringing works
Transgrid has partnered with drone technology provider Infravision to develop a safer methodology for stringing the 992 transmission line in Burrinjuck Gorge, near Yass. This follows a recent Transgrid decision to explore a safer alternative to using helicopters for works taking place in close proximity to power lines.
