The two-year Graduate Development Program offers on-the-job training and structured development every step of the way. Over
time, you will gain a high degree of autonomy in your day-to-day tasks.
As a Graduate you will be given opportunities to work with a high
degree of autonomy and to make meaningful contributions that help to
ensure our objectives and projects are delivered on time, on budget and
to specification. A variety of placements and locations will provide you
with unique insights into different operational areas of our business,
while the professional and personal skills that you learn on the job
will be a great advantage in your future career.
Once you complete the second year, you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role at TransGrid.

We are also proud to offer the EEA Graduate Program in Engineering, a
customised program that helps to shape the next generation of
high-performing engineers that will lead our organisation into the
future. It encompasses an international business and management program,
with units provided by Harvard Business School, combined with national
engineering standards and hands-on practical experience.
By incorporating Stage 2 engineering competencies, the program is
able to offer you a unique opportunity to achieve Chartered status,
