Since the first confirmed coronavirus cases were reported in Australia, Transgrid prepared for the spread of COVID-19 across the community.

Our COVID-19 management plan continues to prioritise the health and safety of our people and the public, as well as the safe delivery of electricity to our customers. We follow the advice of the Australian and NSW Governments to ensure we continue to operate safely and efficiently. 

Visiting or working at our sites

If you are visiting or working at our workplaces, please be mindful of the following guidelines:

  • Follow the current NSW Government Health Guidelines on COVID-19 management. 
  • Do not attend Transgrid sites or events if you have cold or flu symptoms, are feeling unwell, have tested positive to COVID-19, or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
  • Hand sanitiser dispensers are available for your use.
